600 participants across thematic engagement sessions since 2021, as part of our community choir and young company or attended family fun days, Buzz/Interplay Theatre Interaction days for young people with learning disabilities, bespoke history and creative curriculum session at Beecroft Primary school, or developed set building skills through Forging Futures and the Skill Mill.
91% of the anecdotal feedback was wholly positive with the quality of the work and its performers, the impact of the site-specific location, quality of the music, accessibility, and connection to local heritage and stories about women being repeatedly mentioned as particular positive elements. The majority of audiences hadn’t visited Leeds Industrial Museum before attending the production.
We had audiences from across the country, the furthest away from the venue included Brighton, however the vast majority of audiences were from Leeds (35%) and its wider City Region (73%), with the hyperlocal postcode of LS12 having the largest individual audience segment (10%).
