archipelago arts collective is all about drawing people, ideas and stories together. We make new, bold and often epic art through generous and exciting collaborations with artists, participants and audiences as equals.

Collaboration lies at the heart of our creative process. Our approach is rooted in co-creation and active listening. None of our work is based on assumption and is developed through holistic conversations with the communities and individuals who are platformed by or want to speak to and through our work.

Our mission is to be part of bringing our tiny islands of people together, celebrating what unites us, whilst embracing our differences. We prioritise accessibility across all our projects, ensuring that our work is inclusive and welcoming.

Our work isn’t bound to form. We make large scale theatrical experiences in and out of ‘theatre’ spaces. We make short-films. We make gigs.

Our work isn’t bound to scale. We make big art with both few and many people - participants, artists and audiences.

Our work isn’t subtle. (Our world isn’t subtle anymore). Our work is made through real conversation, grounded in experience and echoed back loudly.
